  • Letters Only- Sal Guerra

I thought this was special. I know lots of people doubt themselves when all they can do is send a letter. It's with those people in mind I thought I'd share this:  SFC Sal Guerra 05 Aug 2009: DEAR Supporters We would like to thank you all for your support. The letters and packages have been more than we expected that is why as of ...
  • Re: Shipping in Time for Veteran's Day

I'm glad I asked then, I was definitely not giving myself enough time!

  • Shipping in Time for Veteran's Day

We are organizing a collection drive and would like to know, with Veteran's Day on November 11, what day do you think should the boxes absolutely be shipped out by so they arrive around this date in Iraq and Afghanistan? I know it SOUNDS far away, but we move slowly here! LOL!

  • Re: Unusual requests :-)

I love this quote from Brandon Bettis' page. Seriously. I want to frame it!   SPECIFIC ITEMS WE WOULD LIKE: -Letters (quote from one of my guys "have women write... and spray with perfume). Sounds crazy, but he is right. I'm married and we aren't running a dating service, but perfume will make anyone happy.

  • How Sweet

Did you guys see the July 9 update from Mark Smith? He posted a thank you letter from one of the soliders. It is so insanely sweet and if you ever need some kind of motivation, that's the kind of letter that does it!

  • Re: Any Soldier at the office

I guess I should've clarified. I'm organizing an actual drive. Like a letter-writing campaign. The company is picking up the cost of postage and we will be sending all packages and letters at one time. I am not pushing it to be an ongoing thing because I just know it won't hold here. If people want to pick it up on their own, I'll ...

  • Any Soldier at the office

Hi,  I have approached my District Manager about organizing something for Any Soldier at our office. Things mover super slowly here, so I would like to coordinate something so I can send them in October in honor of Veteran's Day. I have been using Any Soldier for a while now but only for things from me. I'm wondering if there ...

  • Re: Overlooked contacts - 2008 Edition

I would like to add SFC Mario Nelson. He was added June 1 and supports a total of 56 soldiers. He's been requested only 12 times and their needs are pretty dire:  Our soldiers are several outpost away from the main FOB. They have no px and have to wait to ask someone going to a FOB to pick up their personal items. soap ...
  • Re: Possible suggestion...

Marty, To expand on the bookmarking option... What about coming at it in a different fashion? You're the technical guru so I'll try to spell out what I am envisioning and maybe you can pull it together.  What I think might work is a feature only for registered users that would allow them to save "Favorite ...
