  • Re: 2009 overlooked contacts

I just 'searched' phone cards for Afghanistan and there are many contacts there with hundreds in their unit/connections and very few requests.  Check out Wood Lemon who has 15 requests for 450 men and 75 women, and Jason Smith who has 37 requests for 1000 contacts--just to name 2 of those listed.

Try Michaels, JoAnns, and best bet is Oriental Trading (online catalog).  We got cheap ones there last yr and that enabled us to get the 'good' stuff for inside.

  • Re: Customs Forms Online

Also, forgot to say:  I just put in arbitrary weights and even got the total wrong (on the online form) and it printed the 5 pages and when I got to the PO, it weighed less, but the guy just scanned the top and put it thru.  It's a FLBox and they really don't care how much it weighs.

  • Re: Customs Forms Online

I deal with 2 POs.  One just came to our Sr. Ctr where we pack and left a brochure and when I called, they didn't call back.  So, I went to MY local PO and talked to my friendly guy and he said:  It doesn't matter to us which form you use (online or printed).  For APO/FP addresses we can bypass inputting the contents ...

  • Re: Customs Forms Online

I printed out my first Customs Form online today.  It took 20+ minutes and printed out 5 pages--that's 5 pieces of paper and lots of toner from ink cartridge AND that's just for 5 items (very condensed version of what's actually in box!).  I cannot imagine what they were thinking when they created this mess.  We ship 50+ ...

  • Re: 2009 overlooked contacts

God bless you all.  I went to Costco and got some flannel pants and 5 long-sleeved heavy Ts.  Lots of sox and it took up 2 FLBoxes.  Never thought to order direct and get free shipping.  Gotta try it!  Hope it doesn't take too long for him to get things.  Got a free mail thx yesterday (10/5) from A'stan ...
