The last of 6-4 CAV got back last week.  I was thrilled to see our son who made it home for three days.  YEAH!  Thank you to all who supported the 6-4 CAV.  Your efforts made their time in Afghanistan better.  

Once everyone is back I will update you.  Thank you for all the support you have shown to the troops of 6-4 CAV!  It was such a help knowing that others were concerned with their welfare.  I know many families can not afford to send everything their soldier needed.

 Well, basically, if there is a large group they are usually at a larger base, ie a FOB and not an OP or COP.  They usually do have extra resources that the smaller groups do not.  I know my son was at an OP where there were NO options for obtaining needed supplies.  EVERYTHING had to be flown in by chopper.  Roughing it ...

I don't get HBO so I will have to wait to see it on DVD.  I first saw the trailer on the Wounded Warrior web site.  I really, really, want to see this movie.   I hope there are a lot of people out there that will see how importent it is to support our troops, because by supporting them, we honor them.

 First you must have a picture on your computer.  Note exactly where it is so you can find it when you browse.  Then go to edit profile and click on avitar.  Make sure enable avitar is on.  Then click browse to find the picture you want to up load.  Then click update.  Hope this helps.  If not let me know.

I always  generalize and simply do not say much.  I would say snacks, books and leave it at that.  I have never had a box refused.  I also do not put much $$ down.  I usually say between $25 and $30 so as to not invite theft.  I was given this tip quite a while ago so.  I think the less said the better.
