    I contacted them and they said they base it right off of the usps.gov site and always use priority mail.  I ran some calculations myself using the calculator on usps.gov and selecting priority mail service.  On what I thought stuff weighed, i.e., I figured 20 cans at 16oz was 20 pounds - and added in a couple pounds for packing and ...

    Ease.... the closest supermarket of any decent size is 30 minutes away.... packing items for shipment is a pain, and so is the trip to the PO.  I figured my time invested in both shopping and shipping is about 2 hours.  I can sit and click in in 5 minutes be done.  Living in such a rural area perhaps makes the choice easier - we ...

    No - they charge for shipping based on weight.  I had checked amazon first, but they had minimum order quanties on some items that required a case to be shipped - I wanted to ship a box of special K - amazon had 4 for $20.81, and this site I could order a box for $5.80 - about a 60 cent premium, but I could select my own quantities.  ...
