  • Re: Individual servings

Which is a good and valid point.  However, the individual drink mixes are in individual packets, as is the oatmeal and the hot chocolate.  I would NEVER take foot powder, shampoo or anything like that out of its original container and repackage it.  Those are sealed with packing tape and put in a baggie to prevent any spillage ...

I take hot chocolate and oatmeal out of its box and put the packets in vacuum sealed bags.  For those I use the Food Saver.  Reynolds or Glad also make one.  I can get more in the box that way.  I also do the same with the individual drink mixes.  Air is a waste of space in those boxes as far as I'm concerned.

I have seen Monkey Butt Powder and wondered what the heck it was.  Next time I'm at Tractor Supply, I think I'll get some for my guys!

  • Re: Beef Summer Sausage & Cheese

My local grocery store has Wolf brand chili on sale for real cheap ($1 a can) right now, and I checked with one of my Army contacts to see if they wanted some (of course!) and asked him about a can opener.  Seems the Army issues them Leatherman tools, which is a multi-purpose tool, which has a can opener, so he said I didn't ...

Has anyone sent Velveeta cheese?  It doesn't have to be refrigerated, so should make the trip, but without lots of Rotelle tomatoes in it, it's not so very good.  Just wonderin?

  • Re: Customs Forms Online

This doesn't make sense.  You can go to the USPS website and they will send you, free of charge, all of the shipping supplies you need.  Boxes, customs forms, all of it.  If the post office was going to require online fill out of their blasted forms, I can't believe they would still provide them free of charge to ...

  • Re: Customs Forms Online

Are you saying that your post office requires you to fill out the forms online?  And to weigh each item?  Why do we need the post office then?

  • Re: I just received my first e-mail! :)

there is nothing quite like opening the inbox and seeing a familiar name pop up.  My husband and I both do the "happy dance"  I have 3 contacts that I am in regular email contact with and it is beyond wonderful.  They all have told me that I am a blessing to them, but I feel like I'm the one that's blessed by being ...
