  • Packing liquids

I am writing to share a hint. I send quite a bit of liquids...lotions, body soap, shampoo, etc. and always tape the lids around and over the top and around again. Then I put them in zip lock bags. Unless the bottles break and the bag does too, it shouldn't leak out. It is such an honor for me to...

  • KOP -- Michael Moad

Just read that Michael Moad has to come off the anysoldier website. He states that they are moving again and that they are seriously out of space and literally on each other. I was soooooo sad .....because I didn't find him due to the article in Vanity Fair or any other media. I had been in contact with...

It looks like a lot of the artwork here in Mount Shasta. I noticed that alot of people have added articles on their posts. How do you do that? A young man from Mount Shasta died in Afghanistan on the 9th and I want to add the article to the post I made about it. Can you help?

  • Re: What to say when your teenager says he's too sick to go to school

I wanted to give you an update to this. Today, I got home at 0740hrs, and gave Zac his money back. With it, I told him that I have a standing order for that probe, so let me know if you get sick again, and I'll take you right in. HIs response? I'm fine, thanks.

  • A young soldier gone

In our local paper today is a picture of a young man on Mount Shasta with his snow board and a big smile on his face. His name is Travis Woods, US marine Cpl. He was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan on September 9, 2007. To the Woods Family....your family, and Travis our in our thoughts and prayers...

  • No Soldier of my own

Hello All, I do not have a son or daughter fighting in Iraq, or Afghanistan. My oldest son tried to join, but the military did not want him, due to an 8 year history of cancer, chemo and a bone marrow transplant. He did tell me about this website though, and many of his friends, many like my own children...
