    How about ''women's'' magazines for female soldiers? Some of the topics discussed in these magazines are enough to make me blush I picked some up at the library (just 10 cents!) to send to a female soldier, and am not sure if they would be OK in that part of the world.

    Good question. I would have to guess it depends on what type of magazine it is? Meaning, some information goes out of date far more quickly than others. I can read a Reader's Digest magazine from 15 years ago and still enjoy most of it, but that would not be true for, say, Newsweek, probably. I saw a...
